ImageThe Park Hill Education Foundation was begun in 1998 and obtained section 501 (c) (3) status under the Internal Revenue code in October 2000.  Beginning in July 2002, the school district ceased funding the operation of the foundation.  Although a separate entity, the Foundation exists for the benefit of the students, teachers, and patrons of the Park Hill School District.  Since the Foundation’s inception more than $350,000 has been returned to the students and teachers of the District through scholarships, classroom grants and enhanced learning grants.
 
Goals E-mail
Through the Foundation, funding is provided for a variety of District programs designed to foster innovation in teaching, exploration of new ideas and technologies, and in support of programs that further educational growth of the district. The Foundation’s goals are clear:
  • Image Reward Park Hill School District seniors with scholarships to apply to college or future learning programs.
  • Distribute classroom grants, ranging from $500-$2,000 for programs that encourage district educators to collaborate, develop and implement innovative techniques to enhance students’ ability to learn.
  • Grow an Endowment Fund that allows for greater resources and ensures support to the District in perpetuity.
  • Expand our vision to encompass new ideas for community partnership, growth and opportunity.
